Two People on a Motorcycle Die After Crash with a Bus
Romania, The two (20 & 29) were caught under the rear wheels of the vehicle. On-site there were firefighters and workers from the Ambulance Service. The motorcyclists were pulled by the fire brigade under the coach and were given in vain minutes of resuscitation attempts. There were 67 people in the coach, out of which 20 children, all of Ukrainian nationality. None of them were injured. According to police officers, the accident happened after the Ukrainian driver, a 37-year-old man at the intersection, engaged in a turning maneuver to the left. At that time the coach collided with the Kawasaki motorcycle, registered in Italy. As a result of the impact, the motorcycle driver and passenger were fixed under the rear axle of the coach, requiring the intervention of the firefighters to lift the coach to remove the bodies. The driver was tested using a breathalizer but the result was negative and then blood samples were taken to determine if alcohol was used.

Hard to tell if the bike was going faster than he should have been, but clearly the bus driver didn't pay enough attention. 3am, possibly the biker and passenger were both intoxicated too? |

Re: Two People on a Motorcycle Die After Crash with a Bus
I used to deliver newspapers. So I’d have to be at the warehouse usually around 2/3 am. A few times, on my way there, drivers would just blow thru red lights. And they would be speeding. Even a truck did it one time and I was just like wow, this is how people get killed, you get your green light, you go, and bam youre hit by some pos blowing thru their red light! Not the same case here with traffic lights, but yeah. |
