Several wrong things contributed to this tragedy: First: never ride a two-wheeled vehicle when it is raining. Second: the cam car was doing a polite thing by stopping to allow the moped to turn. The moped driver incorrectly believed that all drivers would be polite, like the driver of the cam-car. As he found out, this wasn't the case. Third: The driver of the car that hit the moped probably wasn't a polite driver and was wondering, but didn't care, why the cam-car was stopping in the middle of the road.
