Re: Two Guys on a Bike Decide to Cross the Road Without Looking
Three people were injured when a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck near the Azad Nagar turn in Hussainganj, Fatehpur, on Wednesday afternoon. One of the injured is reported to be in critical condition and is undergoing treatment at Ramsanehi Hospital in Fatehpur. The pickup driver fled the scene after the accident. Motorcycle riders Aniket (27 years old, son of Nanku Prasad, resident of Tohfapur), Anuj (resident of Tohfapur), and Puneet (resident of Hussainganj) were injured in the accident, which occurred around 1 pm. Aniket suffered serious injuries, while Anuj and Puneet suffered minor injuries. According to reports, the three men were returning home from Jamrao after attending a Trayodashi ceremony when the accident occurred. Police have registered a case and launched a search for the absconding pickup driver. A Trayodashi ceremony refers to the ritualistic observances and worship performed on Trayodashi Tithi, the thirteenth lunar day (tithi) in the Hindu calendar, which occurs twice monthly—once during the waxing moon phase (Shukla Paksha) and once during the waning phase (Krishna Paksha). This tithi holds spiritual significance, often linked to Lord Shiva, ancestors, or planetary deities like Saturn (Shani), and is considered auspicious for specific rituals aimed at seeking blessings, spiritual growth, and ancestral peace. |
