Re: Truck Vs Range Rover

Now that I have the pics of the spot, where I nearly crashed my friend's car in a similar accident, I'll tell you about it:
Happened in the summer of 2013...
I was on the main road, driving a 1998 Volvo V70, when I saw a black, brand new Toyota Land Cruiser closing up to the road from the right...

They were supposed to stop to let me through, due to the "give way" sign, that can be missed only by blind people...

...or someone, who might be included with activities, that one should not do behind the wheel, like making out kissing with your girlfriend
That's exactly what that dude behind of the wheel of that Toyota did
He missed the sign and drove all the way straight in front of me, in the middle of the road, and STOPPED
I just hit the brakes and stopped at the last minute

I hope that both of them shit their pants at that moment

Re: Truck Vs Range Rover

It always amazes me the HUGE vehicles that some people don't seem to register while driving. Ironically though its probably these same people who would swerve if a rabbit were on the road....yeah THAT they can see....

Something similar happened just 2 weeks ago in a rural area about 100 miles away from where I live...
A truck driver tried to swerve to avoid hitting a sheep, who had somehow gotten away from the farm and went wandering on it's own on a nearby road...
He hit a van on the opposite lane, killing the driver

We'd have a nice BBQ instead of a funeral, but no, fuck that

Poor lost sheep. I do the same thing, but not for sheep. Squirrels, rabbits etc.
