Re: Truck and Travel Trailer Overturn on Californian Freeway
Classic case of over correction and unskilled stupidity behind the wheel. Pick up was under powered for the trailer, if he would of just taken his foot off the gas and let everything settle down behind him, things would of been fine. He just kept over correcting each time and made it worse and worse until nothing more could be done save it. I'm also guessing he did not have electric trailer brake set up either (or didn't know how to use it), he could of quickly activated the trailer brake to snap himself straight again and then powered himself through it to keep himself that way.

That...and the trailer could've been loaded improperly (too little tongue weight) which can take a simple miscalculation and magnify it by 10...either way good call

Axle location on that trailer is part of the problem--almost centered on the trailer. Front axle should be back of center 1 inch per foot of trailer length.
