Truck Rear-ends Car on I-40
Weird to see a truck in the fast lane but according to him the car was trying to make an illegal u-turn.

Re: Truck Rear-ends Car on I-40
Police and other official emergency vehicles, like ambulances and fire/rescue vehicles. I'll admit that I busted an emergency U-turn on one of those one time. But I did it in the middle-of-goddamn-nowhere with nobody else on the road. And I did it like I've see the MSHP troopers do it (when they're not about to run code): 1) pull to the left shoulder and slow the fuck down 2) pull into the turnaround and stop to check traffic; 3) when clear, proceed across both travel lanes and turn left on the right-side shoulder; 4) use the right shoulder as an "entrance ramp" to get your speed up to highway speed; and 5) signal and enter the travel (right) lane of the highway. The way this prick tried to cross two lanes and zip into that turnaround at speed... fuck, what an asshole! |

I see jackasses like this every day riding my motorcycle. DON'T GET IN THE HIGH SPEED LANE AND THEN PUT ON YOUR BRAKES! What an idiot!

Re: Truck Rear-ends Car on I-40
1) car going slow in the middle lane should have been in far right lane. I see this all the time. I'll go flying down an empty right lane. 2) truck should not have been in the left lane. 3) of course the guy trying to U was wrong, but lawyers will convince the court that no accident would have happened had the truck not been in the left lane illegally. |
