The accident occurred on January 11 in the evening of the P-217 "Caucasus" highway in Armavir. The KAMAZ driver went to the intersection at the prohibitory traffic light signal and collided with a PAZ bus. The blow was so strong that a loaded truck dragged the bus for several tens of meters and stopped.
The bus passenger died as a result of the accident. Both drivers, as well as five passengers of the bus, including an 8-year-old girl, were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. In the child, doctors were diagnosed with a closed fracture of the right clavicle with displacement. The girl was taken to the children's surgical department of the city hospital. A criminal case has been initiated under Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
