He couldn’t see oncoming truck until he cleared turning pickup truck. He had to have known he was screwed when he tried to swerve. He did a header right under the 4th axle. At least it was quick.

He gets a clear view with what seems like enough moments to apply brakes. Or not attempt to clear the back of the small truck, like the tricyclist was him/herself driving an actual car or truck.
