Train Rips Through Trailer of Semi Stuck on Railroad Tracks
The driver and passenger of a semi ran for their lives after his rig got stuck on railroad tracks; with a train barreling down the tracks. It happened in Chester, Virginia Thursday afternoon. Dash-cam footage shows two people flee from the tractor-trailer, which appears to be stalled on the tracks before the train strikes the trailer, the train rips through the trailer. The tracks were shut down for several hours. |

This place could start another category "Semi Trucks Vs. Trains". Why do they ALWAYS get stuck on the tracks? Then, when the train hits is, suddenly it can move again! WTF?!?!

Some idiots don't crank the landing gear on the trailer all the way up, like these two, then get hung up on high spots like crossings, like these two, then can't figure out why the wheels just spin when they highside the rig, like these two, and instead of cranking up the landing gear all quick as fuck and freeing the truck to continue they run away, like these two, risking the lives of innocent people around them, like these two, and are not professional drivers but dumb fucks who eventually end up killing people, like these two!

I was expecting those ****** to start running around and stealing the swag scattered all over the tracks until the filming guy yells at them "its stuff from your truck you morons!" Perfect background music for that collision. |

Yessir, robot self driving trucks can't come fast enough. There is a shortage of truck drivers and they are starting to hire non human primates as truck drivers. Fatal accidents and injuries involving truck crashes are thru the roof in the USA...

Not to say this is the problem in this video, but in the US, depending on your load, you have to stop at all railroad crossings. To me, it creates the opportunity for the semi to stall on the tracks after re-starting to cross the tracks. Plus a truck going 100kph only spends 1 second crossing the tracks vs 30-40 seconds when crossing from a dead stop. |
