Train Crashes into Stuck Tractor Trailer

ACWORTH, Ga. Police dashcam video caught a train crash in downtown Acworth.
Acworth police said Lemon, School and Main streets were closed for hours due to the crash. It has since reopened.

Police said the driver had been hauling personal items. It's unclear why the truck was stopped on the tracks.

Police said there are no reports of injuries.
The driver, Richard A. Brown, 29 of Summerfield, Florida was cited for failure to obey railroad grade crossing.

The train pushed the trailer about a quarter of a mile north on the tracks.

The trailer suffered severe damage.
CSX workers spent hours inspecting the tracks for damage.

Police said the intersection is clearly marked prohibiting such vehicles from crossing this intersection.
