Thousand Shelves of Pallets with Frozen Goods Collapses on Forklift Operator
Brazil. A forklift operator was injured after a serious accident that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday (18) at a wholesaler located at the access to Rodovia Anhanguera, at km 25, in the Jaguara region, in the West Zone of São Paulo. A video recorded the moment when about a thousand shelves of pallets with frozen goods fell on the employee. According to the Fire Department, the incident was recorded around 4 a.m., when teams were called to assist a victim trapped inside a cold storage room of the establishment. At the scene, there were about 80 tons of frozen material that collapsed and blocked access, approximately five meters from the chamber's door. |
