Teenager Fatally Shoots Himself While Making a Reel with a Pistol

Indian teenager A. K. J, a 12th-grade student and grandson of a cop, left home at 8 PM on March 30 with friends. Late at night, he called his parents and informed them that he had gone to Lucknow to get treatment for a friend's mother. The next morning, he called again and said he was returning from Lucknow.

On March 31, at around 2:30 PM, he called again and said he was unwell. He had been admitted to Janshakti Hospital, Gola Road, Lakhimpur.

As soon as the information was received, family members reached the hospital. Here, his friends S. K. and N. S, along with other companions, were present.

The family members allege that his friends and the hospital staff did not give them the correct information. When asked, they were told that he had been burned by firecrackers.

Due to this, his treatment was ongoing. On the night of March 31, at around 1 AM, doctors called the family members and informed them about his deteriorating condition. They advised taking him to Lucknow.

There, an X-ray examination revealed that he had a bullet lodged in his stomach. During treatment, his condition continued to deteriorate.

He died around 6 AM on April 2. Family members say that if the correct information had been received on time, his life could have been saved with better treatment. Based on the complaint, police have registered a report.

Allegations of kidnapping, murder, and concealing evidence his uncle, has alleged that the teenager was kidnapped and murdered. Later, attempts were made to conceal evidence. He says that several other people may also be involved in this incident.

He has demanded an impartial investigation and justice from the police. His two friends confessed they were making a reel and that he accidentally shot himself in his stomach with a pistol and provided the video as evidence.
