Argentina, Agustina D, 19, was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle with her boyfriend, Lucas, when a driver brutally struck them and fled the scene.

At that intersection, a blue Volkswagen T-Cross slammed into them, sending them flying for several meters. The driver of the car sped away and remains at large.

Agustina was left in a coma and on a ventilator at the Hospital.

Thanks to security cameras in the area, Agustina's family was able to reconstruct part of the car's path, which fled at high speed along the Avenue and then disappearing from sight.

Lucas recounted the moment "We were returning from running some errands for our drinks and desserts business, which we started about three weeks ago. That same day was my niece's birthday, and while she went shopping for clothes, we were going out. We were returning to celebrate ," the young man said with immense pain.

“People like this ruin everything for you. They're reckless. They left us with the worst of it, because today Agustina is fighting for her life. I know she'll pull through because she's strong,” he said, deeply moved.
