Taxi Driver Rams into 3 Cops During Demonstration
Mexico. Seven police officers were injured in the brawl and 17 people were arrested. Seven uniformed members of the SSC Metropolitan Police were injured, three run over by the cabbie. The police operation led to a confrontation between both sides, where protesters threw stones at the uniformed officers and damaged three official vehicles. A taxi driver, trying to cross the barrier, accelerated the pace of his unit and ran over three police officers and then fled: The injured were taken to hospitals for medical attention.  |

They are protesting against the report of a stolen vehicle in CDMX, which has already been located in Morelos, which is why they ask the prosecutor's office to expedite the investigation but they haven't done that yet.

I can see why the guy did that. You don't make any money as a cabbie, if you are at a standstill. I'd tell them: "Hey! Of COURSE I ran you over! How else am I supposed to make money to pay my fines?!?!?!"  |
