They were blocking the side street, they were partly in the other street, and how is it a good thing to hold your kids where they are likely to be killed? Be safe. A ton of metal going fast is to be avoided. Stay away from it with your soft little body. It is not a difficult concept.

That wasn’t a side “street”... looks like a driveway. If those people weren’t there the dumbass driver would’ve drove straight into that building. Was the building blocking the “side street” too?

 what's wrong with your eyes? that ton of metal went directly at them, leaving the road and going through the side where vehicles are not meant to go passing by. even the wheels of the street most motor cycle is still behind the straight line border. how do you drive in your country? through the road shoulders?
