Update 15.06.2023 - A young man died while three others were injured after the car he was riding in skidded and hit a road divider at Kilometer 125 of the North-South Highway, southbound, near here on Wednesday. Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) chief Yong Peng, Assistant Fire Superintendent Asyraf Nur Mohd Yusof said, his party received an emergency call regarding the incident at 7.09pm. He said, the accident involved a Perodua Bezza type car that skidded and hit the road divider. There were four victims in the vehicle. "One victim, S.I.l S.O, 20, died at the scene while two men and a woman aged 21 and 20 respectively were injured," he said when contacted on Thursday. He said that all the injured were removed by members of the public and they provided initial treatment before being sent to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital (HPSF) in Muar by EMRS. He said, the operation ended at 8.14pm. |
