A serious traffic accident occurred at around 12:40 p.m. on September 22 at an intersection in China when a white SUV collided with a three-wheeled low-speed vehicle. According to the report, the SUV was travelling at high speed in an attempt to pass through the intersection before its green light changed. At the same time, the three-wheeled vehicle entered the intersection from the perpendicular direction, reportedly running a red light.

The two vehicles collided with significant force. Due to the SUV's speed and the limited structural protection of the three-wheeled vehicle, the smaller vehicle was destroyed in the impact, with debris scattered across the road. Two people, reportedly an elderly person and a child, were travelling in the three-wheeled vehicle. Both were thrown from the vehicle during the collision.
