A baby reportedly survived an accident involving two trucks in Sumatra, Indonesia last Saturday. Through the recording of the dashboard camera (dashcam) of a vehicle passing by the scene of the incident, the little boy named Fatih Akbar was seen trying to crawl out of the truck to look for his mother, Sri Devi. After successfully getting out, the baby was seen running back towards his mother who was still trapped in the crushed truck.

At the same time, Sri Devi was also seen trying to get out of the door of the yellow and purple lorry. The accident is believed to have happened on the road around the Lampung region in Indonesia. Central Lampung Traffic Police Chief, Wahyu Dwi Kristanto said, the crash is suspected to be caused by the driver of the yellow and purple truck falling asleep while driving.

"We suspect that the truck driver fell asleep while driving, causing his vehicle to swerve into the opposite lane and hit another truck. Both truck drivers survived but one of them suffered severe head injuries, abrasions on his face and a broken right leg," he said. .

Wahyu said that Sri Devi also suffered injuries while her son had bruises on his left eye and abrasions on his face. Sri Devi said that she and her son were sleeping when the accident happened. "I didn't know Fatih was outside the truck until he came towards me," he said, adding that his son was in good condition and had been treated at a nearby hospital.
