Stolen Car Ploughs into Crowd Outside Rochdale Bar Injuring 25
Just up the road from me, wasn't on that night so didn't get there but spoke to one of plod who was there and said it looked like the aftermath of a riot! Graphic CCTV footage capturing the terrifying moment a stolen car was driven at speed into a crowd of people outside a bar was released by police today. The video footage shows the stolen Saab ploughing into revellers like skittles outside the Dali Bar on Packer Street in Rochdale town centre. People are shown running and jumping for cover as the car mounts the pavement and accelerates with its headlights on. Some are thrown on to and over its bonnet. A total of 25 people suffered a range of injuries and 14 were taken to hospital. Incredibly, no one was seriously hurt. |

I think they've caught the driver or handed himself in, they are looking for the passenger, been a few raids around his area looking for him. Might be the other way round, driver maybe on the run, can't remember... |
