Squad Car Crashes into Restaurant During Pursuit

An unmarked police cruiser crashed into a Chinese restaurant in Brookline early Friday morning May 15 2009.


The officer had originally spotted multiple suspicious vehicles, and tried to stop them. At least one of the cars fled, and the officer gave chase.


The cruiser then skidded into the front of "King Fung Garden" at around 1:30 a.m., shortly after the restaurant closed.


No one was injured, but there is significant damage to the vehicle and the front of the building.

No arrests were made.
