Indonesia. A truck transporting ceramic tiles experienced a brake failure this early morning, causing it to crash into a three-way intersection monument, a person on a scooter and a number of shophouses.

There were no fatalities in the incident, but five people were reported injured.

The truck sped out of control and entered the Kertek Market intersection.

Upon arriving at the location, the truck hit the three-way intersection monument until it was destroyed, then bounced and hit a row of shophouses on the west side.

As a result of the hard impact, the ceramic load being carried by the truck spilled and was scattered all over the road.

One of the Kertek Market traders, said the truck was traveling at high speed before hitting the monument.
