Speedy Truck Crashes in a Road Bend
trucker died. Two others in the Fiat the truck collided with were sent to the Hospital. Truck transporting a steamroller lost the brakes. Brazil. |

Trucks that lose their brakes always get me. Air brakes automatically apply and LOCK if there's an air pressure failure. A diesel has incredible engine compression and killing the engine in gear will use engine braking to slow it down. Even downshifting and using the exhaust brake (Jake Brake) will be adequate if you're paying attetion to your truck.
