Speedy Drunk Motorist Hits and Kills Pedestrian on Crosswalk
Ford driver was speeding through an intersection and over an unregulated crosswalk which resulted in slamming into a 50-year-old man that died from his injuries at the scene. Driver fled the scene in his car but crashed into a parked car a few blocks away and was arrested by police who later told that the driver was intoxicated.   |

I'm not taking the blame off the pos drunktard, but the pedestrian shares in part of this, his death. Why would anyone just walk across the road, hardly even taking a few moments before stepping foot in the roadway? I can only trust myself, and I rather take my steps to make sure I am doing the right thing, i'm either safe or i'm dead. It will not be my fault, and my family will have the right to sue whoever and get some money off my death. So if I'm crossing the road, I stop, I look, I listen, IS IT SAFE? Yes? I cross, still on alert. Back in kindergarten when the teacher taught us: STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN...it was for a reason! |
