I saw a lot more when I ran it at half speed. Two cars turned in to its path due to the ridiculous speed, and it hit the grey car turning left. The rider beeped his horn then did a cool cartwheel. Then a trailing speeding motorcycle laid their bike down and slide clear through the intersection with no impacts.

Travelling at that sort of speed relatively unprotected on a motorcycle ... I think that qualifies as a Darwin Award.

Except for that nasty impact with the street.  Please understand I've done quite a number motorcycle post-crash investigations. The absolute worst thing a motorcyclist can do (besides nothing) is try to "lay the bike down". Not challenging you on what you've posted, it is a common misconception that "Laying the Bike Down" is an acceptable crash-avoidance maneuver. |
