Speeding Chevrolet Tahoe Crashes into Car That Was Pulled Over by the Cops
On September 12, 2020 at around 10:35pm Officer Mueller had pulled over a car just west of Carroll Avenue. They parked in a Regions Bank parking lot, alongside Highway 114. Officer Mueller called for a cover officer, as he wanted to make sure the driver was all right to drive. He got out the driver and was checking her eyes a few feet away from the car. The cover officer was Corporal Ellis, who went over to the car and chatted it up with the three young kids in the back seat to put them at ease. Over on Highway 114, just east of Kimball, Officer Carlson was radaring traffic. A burgundy Chevy Tahoe zipped past him going 97mph, and as you all know, Highway 114 is only 65mph. Officer Carlson started to go after the Tahoe, but due to the high speeds, barely gained on him. The Tahoe exited Carroll Avenue still flying way over the speed limit. Sergeant Sewell was working Town Square across the highway and was listening on his radio about the speeding Tahoe. He was in a position to where he actually saw the Tahoe speeding and run the red light at Carroll and Highway 114, almost crashing into another car. He got on the radio and announced the reckless driving. In the video, we see Corporal Ellis chatting with three kiddos in the back seat and keeping them entertained and calm. He hears Sergeant Sewell warn about the Tahoe and knows that the traffic stop he’s on is super close to the approaching speeding Tahoe. A few seconds tick by and Corporal Ellis alertly turns his head towards Carroll Avenue. You hear the squeal of tires as the Tahoe loses control and then flies onto the scene of the traffic stop, crashing onto the car where Corporal Ellis stood nanoseconds before. Before the debris even settles, our officers run to get the kids out of the car and make sure they’re all right. They get them out of the car and safe with their mother and rush to check on the driver of the Tahoe, who had been ejected out the front window. Officers quickly performed CPR on him and he was rushed to the hospital alive. The driver is still undergoing medical treatment and there are no charges at this time. |

Geez, who wrote that text? "nanoseconds before". Yes, 3 billion nanoseconds before.
