It was safe to stop. You have the mangled car blocking a lane and behind the car you have a truck blocking the lane too. If someone gave a crap they would pull over ahead on the crunched car to see if they could help. You don't need to be a cop of doctor to help. The person in the car could be bleeding to death and you could stop the bleeding, etc., until paramedics arrive. This looks like China so figures people don't give a crap about other people. I guess they have too many people there already...
