Actually you're wrong, the driver moves the switch which routes the tram between the lines. Still not sure it was a human error though, the switch mechanism can get wet, can freeze, and it's romania (so it's probably crappy) etc. Pretty sure the opposite tram wanted to go right, that's why the POV tram kept the speed
