Kid was lucky that the biker dropped the bike down and only swiped his legs. Biker was going way too fast for that area.

Both parties were wrong. Biker going way too fast and kids were running through a crossWALK without watching for oncoming cars. Both were lucky nobody died. People die everyday in crosswalks thinking those magic white lines will protect them from an oblivious driver speeding towards them.  |

Kids too trusting of a crosswalk. Other people after the accident also just blithely crossed the street there without even looking.  |
