Sleepy Truck Driver Slams into Parked SUV with Family Inside
Philippines, A speeding truck crashed into the back of a family's car while they were buying food from a restaurant in Davao City, last Monday evening. The truck slams into the family SUV and pushing it along the sidewalk before stopping. Another angle of the accident shows that many tables and chairs of the restaurant were flying everywhere. Two people, including a seven-year-old boy, were injured. Police said the driver is believed to have fallen asleep while driving, but the family has reached an agreement to compensate this person without asking the authorities to intervene. In addition, the truck driver also said he would shoulder the costs of medical, shop and auto repair for the victims. |
