Malaysia. Today in Sungai Petani, Kedah a Proton X50 SUV carrying seven people and a tipper lorry loaded with 10 tons of soil collided with each other.

Six people died at the scene. This includes the 27-year-old male driver, two women, aged 55 and 27, a 21-year-old male, a 7-year-old boy and a 6-month-old baby girl.

A 3-year-old girl is the sole survivor of the SUV. She suffered severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

The Proton X50 SUV driven by the family involved in a fatal accident here today was said to have just been purchased today. Kedah Police Chief Datuk Adzli Shah is expected to hold a press conference regarding the accident at the HSB Forensic Department tonight.
