the boy is not dead nor dying , story in brief is that his father is some big shot rebel and they had a search squad in their house lookin for the father who was hiding somewhere in the house ...well he didn't tell ...he got shot twice in his feets ...!

I haven't been keeping up on this situation as thoroughly as I could be but from what I gather this is one of the tamer examples of what they're doing to their people right now. Thank Russia and China for vetoing at the last security council meeting though. Wouldn't want anyone to get their hands dirty on a humanitarian issue until it's too late. I'm not banging on the war drums but the Syrian government is starving its people and opening fire on unarmed civilians--many of them women, children and teenage boys. Any sanctions we issue on this country will only further ail the civilian populace and yet Al-Qaeda (among others) are infiltrating the opposition's ranks. Tricky situation and it's only growing more precarious.
