Surveillance video shows what happened in the moments leading up to a crash between a Sound Transit Link light rail train and a car in South Seattle.
The accident happened just after 11 a.m. Monday where the light rail tracks intersect at 7150 Martin Luther King Way South.
The video from the front of the train shows a car turn left directly in front of the train and the crash a moment later.
The impact carried the car several feet down the tracks, knocking over a light pole in the process.
The 50-year-old driver inside the car was trapped inside for about 15 minutes until firefighters could peel away some of the wreckage.
He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of minor injuries.
No one on the train was hurt.
