SDC Kills Pedestrian Dashcam Footage
So Uber self driving car killed a pedestrian in Arizona. The safety driver didn't notice till too late. This video stops just before impact, so no splat I'm afraid. Maybe the full video is available but I haven't found it yet. Love the expression on the safety drivers fat face as she realizes she's about to kill someone. |

49 year old Elaine Herzberg, was walking her bike across the street when she was struck. She died of her injuries at a hospital. Police believe that Elaine was homeless. She had spent time in prison in the past for minor crimes including drug offenses. Rafaela Vasquez, aged 44, was responsible for the vehicle when it struck Elaine on Sunday night in Tempe, Arizona. She previously spent four years in prison for armed robbery + falsifying documents, but was hired by Uber anyway. She was traveling at 40 mph at the time, well within the 45 mph speed limit + insisted that she was alert but that nothing could have been done to stop the crash. Elaine:    Rafaela:  Crash:    |

Damn. I thought the driver was a dude till I read the next post. These self driving cars are garbage. Give me a manual sedan with rear wheel drive and I'm good.  |

The pedestrian came out of nowhere, with no lights, so any motorist would have hit her. But greedy lawyer scum will sue for millions.
