My friend's brother fell asleep at the wheel once. Drove right through a light post and woke up only after rolling another few feet through bushes. I still think anyone who falls asleep at the wheel is a dumb fucking asshole.

I was working 2 to 3 jobs in my early 20s. One was delivering newspapers in the wee hours of the morn. So after I had finished my route, driving back home, 20 minute drive, I dozed off. I snapped awake just in time to correct my wheel, I was heading to the highway wall. After that close call happened, I decided to take short naps before actually heading home. So I'd park at the local park that was near my route and nap. Am I a dumb fucking asshole? I was working my ass off and it wore on me and I fell asleep behind the wheel. I was lucky to not crash at all. And made it a point to never have that happen again. |

He's actually lucky. He missed a lot of traffic that would surely have fucked him up not to mention the people in the other cars.

Yes, you are a dumb fucking asshole. You endagered innocent, period. You got lucky and didn't hurt or kill anyone. "Learning your lesson" wouldn't have helped if you had.
