Yes indeed… I had some fucktard on a bike the other day come flying through the intersection where I was at the stop sign waiting. The car in front of me turned and cut the bike off from his direction and as I turned the corner he started yelling shit at me…  I wanted to turn around and run his ass over… fucking bike idiots..  This helped.   Thanks v1r ~

Bicyclists normally are not allowed on limited access highways like that, but it is Russia so ???. That aside, the truck driver attempted to pass three bicyclists via the right shoulder. Besides those two moving violations plus reckless driving, WTF did that commercial truck driver expect to happen? Perhaps it was a distracted driving incident and not an intentional pass, in which case the truck avoided 3 deaths. I bicycled on roads for city commuting for a few years, and also bicycled backroads for decades. Except for congested city biking, I follow all the road rules more than cars do. From that experience, I learned there is percentage of drivers who will absolutely launch vehicle assaults on bicycles if the opportunity arises. The most common is unsafe passes (insufficient side clearance or a hard swerve in front of bicycle to avoid oncoming traffic). These drivers feel entitled to pass bikes in the same lane when there is clearly an unsafe separation or oncoming traffic hazard. To combat this, for their own safety, bicyclists will take the full lane, especially when that lanes are too narrow or when they are setting up to turn. |

Reminds me of the time my dad, my mom and my sisters were driving on the highway (okay, it was just a city street, but it was a very busy city street) and these two black guys were on a tandem bike and peddling as fast as they could so they thought they could stay in the car lanes and drive with the cars. My dad, who was a big bigot that used the "N" word liberally, became furious when they pulled in front of our car, causing him to scream and blast his horn. The two dudes quickly weaved out of traffic back into the bike lane. Then the black guy in front sees my sister in the backseat and leers and waves at her. Good thing he did that after he pulled over after my dad blasted his horn at them for being in front |
