Road Raging Woman in Ford Ute Rams 3 Cars After a Dispute

A woman has been arrested in Newcastle, AUS following an alleged road rage incident which saw a car rammed several times.

The woman, 29, was involved in a dispute with a man, 55, at a business on Hunter Street on Friday about 6.20am, police said.

Detective Superintendent Wayne Humphrey told News Corp the argument began in a KFC parking lot.

Following this altercation, police allege the man left in a Holden Barina while the woman drove off in a Ford ute.

It’s alleged she rammed the Holden “several times”.

Video filmed from the scene shows a white Ford ute smashing into the side of a stationary Barina on the street. A man in a white shirt stands next to the Holden and moves out of the path of the ute as it hits into the Barina.

Another person checks the passenger seat and runs away.

An ambulance arrives but before long the ute reverses, its front bumper loose, and drives off - but the incident isn’t over yet.

The ute ends up waiting at a red light, where a number of tradesmen approach the vehicle.

Trying to get away, the driver reverses then rams a car in front of it at the light. The wheels spin and squeal with smoke billowing from the tyres.

The tradesmen step back and the ute manages to scrape past the car and into the intersection where it collides with yet another car. Footage from a high-rise building shows the ute speeding off around a corner.

It’s not clear what happened after this but police said they found and seized the ute on Hunter Street.

They also found the woman at a licensed premises on the same street and arrested her.

It’s further alleged she hit the driver of the Holden with a car. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to John Hunter Hospital for treatment for a minor arm injury. No one else was injured.

The woman was taken to Newcastle Police Station and charged with use offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention, drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, not give particulars to other driver and possess prohibited drug.

The Newcastle woman has been refused bail to appear at Newcastle Local Court on Friday.
