Foolish kid, but... I did stupid things at that age that I am absolutely amazed that I'm still here today. Hope he's okay. That was a hard hit.

Only good thing is kid will probably always be careful crossing the street from now on. I got hit by a neighbor on my bike when I was 6 years old. Dead end suburban streets with no traffic, so I wasn't paying attention. Neighbor had great reflexes, he stopped his car before I hit the front at an intersection. I was not injured but am always careful in traffic now. |

Car traveling around 40mph and kid slammed with, I presume, broken ribs, broken arm, and possibly a broken pelvic. No-less, in extreme pain. |
