Re: Reckless Driver Takes Out Whole Family
Around here, people don't congregate where cars go unless there's a riot or something. We don't walk in the street, we have stop signs at every corner, we look before crossing. I think America makes up for not having a culture with things like that.

Re: Reckless Driver Takes Out Whole Family
Sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. How could I know you were from one of those places where people mill around in the gas station lot where the cars go? We civilized folk don't do that. That is my whole point. It is this very failure to comprehend the basics of traffic safety that lets these things happen. I hope you have learned something here, but I doubt it. Just do me a favor and at least hold a kid's hand in parking lots, OK? Do that much from now on, and our time here has been well spent.

Re: Reckless Driver Takes Out Whole Family
so where you're from, people go to a gas station at that speed? Not minding the plant boxes raised above the pavement to at least prevent slow vehicles to cross that part? That is civilized? when people disembark at gas stations when they were refueling, its to rest their legs and such, especially if they were having a long drive, thinking all vehicle goes in slowly there. you can have your civilization if that's how you do it over there. Maybe where you're from, if someone shoots you, it will still be your fault for not staying out of the way of the bullet. |
