Proton X70 Jumps Median Highway Barrier Killing a Woman and Injuring 4 Others
Malaysia. Last Friday around 5:15 PM On the East Coast Expressway 2 a Proton X70 SUV suddenly jumped the median barrier completely destroying the car. M.C.H, 57 years old was seated in the front passenger seat. She suffered a traumatic left leg amputation before passing away at 7:15 PM during emergency treatment. Four other family members, a man and 3 women, survived the crash. They sustained minor injuries and were treated According to Police, the driver is heavily suspected to have suffered from microsleep while negotiating a bend. The car spun multiple times and jumped the guardrail. The case is being handled under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. |
