Portuguese Teenager Falls From Escalator at Train Station
In Palmela, Portugal, a 16-year-old boy was rescued in serious condition after falling from an escalator at Penalva railway station. It is not known for sure how or why the boy ended up clinging to the outside of the escalator, but he ended up falling a height of around ten metres, suffering several fractures in the process. |

On Saturday, he underwent surgery at the hospital, according to an official source. This Monday the young man is hospitalized in the same hospital and in an induced coma. He suffered multiple injuries. The student from the Autoeuropa Training Academy, had left classes and traveled with other students to the train station, near the educational establishment where the incident occurred. |
