A young man and woman in Vietnam were preparing to sit down for a meal on the floor when the portable gas stove suddenly suffered a catastrophic malfunction. The over-pressurized mini gas canister ruptured and exploded, violently blasting food, utensils and a metal pot lid across the room.

Despite the close proximity, the occupants narrowly escaped major injuries because the force of the blast and the flying gas cylinder shot slightly off-center from where they were sitting

The tank ruptured and blew all the gas out the end without igniting. I wouldn’t say it exploded or they’d both be dead. Lucky people for sure.
