Polish Driver Sees The Barrier But Pay No Attention

The speeding PKP Intercity train hit the front of the car centrally, literally sweeping it off the tracks. The Renault spun several times, and its parts scattered over several dozen meters.

The engine was torn from its chamber. The wreckage flew into the air, spun around several times and fell like a toy to the side of the road, far off the road.

When the emergency services arrived at the scene – the fire department, ambulance, police and the Railway Protection Service – the sight was shocking. The Renault resembled a pile of bent metal.

It's a miracle that the driver survived. With such force of impact, it's usually a tragedy police told.

The police confirmed that the driver was sober.
