A lot of really early cars still had buggy-whip sockets on the dash. I always thought it was in case they needed a horse's help to get home, but a better educated collector told me it was to keep the stupid dogs away, so they didn't get caught in the machinery and torn to pieces, and spoil everyone's afternoon ride. Too bad DR wasn't around, back then! |
