Pick-up Truck Launch at Springdale - Huntsville US 412 AR
An apparent blackout causing a pick-up truck driver to lose control of the wheel, crossing the opposite lane ending up in a ditch where the truck got launched before coming to a stop. The driver sustained numerous lacerations and contusions and complained of back pain and a badly sprained ankle. The passenger, the driver's son, had a fractured humerus and contusions. Truck was a total loss.

The front of the frame was likely bent as hard as it hit. The suspension up front would be collapsed too. I dont think insurance companies like to mess with any sort of frame damage. Now some hillbilly like me will probably buy it wrecked from an auction pull the frame straight and drive it!  |
