A chemical factory caught fire in Penha, in the North Zone of Rio, on Tuesday afternoon (29). The property is located at Rua Belizário da Pena, 355. The fire was controlled around 7:10 pm.

The establishment is next to a workshop that inspects Natural Gas for Vehicles (NGV), a highly flammable product.

Teams from three Fire Department stations were mobilized to fight the fire, including the station specializing in water supply, in São Cristóvão.
