Peterbilt Dump Truck with Raised Bed Hits Highway Overpass Bridge in Minnesota
A Peterbilt dump truck traveling with its dump trailer fully extended upward slammed into a highway overpass bridge near the border of Rosemount and Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. The violent collision occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. at the Highway 52 and Highway 55 interchange, completely tearing the trailer from the truck and causing a rollover. The trailer smashed into the underside of the overpass, ripped completely off the truck chassis, and spun violently into the bridge's concrete support columns. The driver of the Peterbilt dump truck sustained injuries during the violent rollover and was transported via emergency services to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul. |

I drove a dump truck for a while & I can't imagine being oblivious to the bed being raised. |
