Person Ran Over by Car in Salinas, California, USA
Person Hit by Car on South Main Street near Salinas High School SALINAS, CA (December 13, 2022) – A pedestrian sustained injuries in an accident near Salinas High School, Monday afternoon. According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on December 12, shortly after noon. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle hit a pedestrian along South Main Street near Pine Street. Emergency crews transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. As per reports, the victim was not a student. Responders temporarily closed the front of the school to make way for an investigation. CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available. |

My speculation based on the video: The guy who charged the car and got run over. He kept his hands in his pockets early on when most fighters would have hands out. The driver was at first willing to fight, then he ran to his car. He may have caught wind that the other guy was readying a weapon in his pocket. So he ran to his car and drove off, avoiding a possible face full of bullets. Just a possible explanation. |
