LINCOLN HEIGHTS, CALIFORNIA. Randy Villareal, a 10-year-old victim, was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle at the intersection of North Main and Sichel streets Tuesday evening.
The report states that at approximately 5:30 p.m., Villareal and his 11-year-old friend were crossing the street in a crosswalk when the 10-year-old was struck and thrown about 30 feet by a dark-colored vehicle.
Police says the suspect vehicle did not slow down or stop to render aid to the child and continued south on North Main Street.
The 10-year-old boy was rushed to County-USC Medical Center for “head trauma, a pelvic fracture and internal bleeding.”
The police is still looking for the motorist.
