The accident occurred on January 2 on the Novosibirsk-Leninsk-Kuznetsky highway. A Honda Fit car driven by a 32-year-old woman flew off the road and hit four pedestrians. As a result of the collision, a 65-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were hospitalized. Two other pedestrians did not need hospitalization. According to eyewitnesses, before that, two cars had brought in at the same place and motorists stopped to help.

An eyewitness says: "First they pulled out one car, and at the beginning of assistance to the second car, this happened."

I heard that this happens because drivers see the car lights or rear lights and become somewhat hypnotized and don't realize the car isn't moving and plow right into it. kind of like a moth drawn to a light.

Kelly posted one that was very similar to this one but different road conditions but the same slam to all the pedestrians. I tried looking for it but don’t remember where she posted it. It was a devastating crash… crazy phenomenon ~

That car started fishtailing early on. Too fast for conditions and/or not proper snow tires.
