Part of a Courtyard Terrace Collapses with People on It
On February 4, 2026, in Zunyi, Guizhou Province, China, a courtyard terrace suddenly collapsed while a group of people was filming with a drone. A group of people was gathered on the elevated terrace of an old house. While several individuals were waving at a drone for a video, the concrete edge of the courtyard suddenly gave way due to years of disrepair. All three individuals suffered only minor scrapes as the area they fell into consisted of soft earth, which cushioned their impact. The dog had a quick reaction time and escaped from falling down  |

Great drone shot!  And how stupid were the bystanders? The obvious thing to do when a hole opens up and people fall through the pavement is to run over and stand at the edge of the hole to see if it is going to expand any further. |

For those of you interested in technical things, just to the left of where they fell, is a Chicken Plucking Machine, which suffered no damage or fearful fright, and thus continues in it's steadfast labors.  |
